Slippery faux clays

I hate to say it but I have just confermed the rumors of some batches of slippery faux clays.
I bought a quantity of FC of another member a many of them are as slippery as dice chips.
I am not happy and I know it is not the sellers fault because they were just a middle man and wouldn't of know the difference anyway.
I am going to investigate them a little more but I think the centers are the cause since the crosshatching is there.
If that is the case I might not be able to label these ones.
I will keep everyone updates on my findings.

A sad day for the FCN but I had to be honest and post my findings.

Well I checked mine and they all have the crosshatching on the centers. Quick question but don't they all?

I thought that they may have been a bit slippery when I got them but just thought I was being too critical.
They stack really well so maybe its a different slipperyness.

I find that the slipperiness of my faux clay is directly proportional to the quantity of beer and/or whiskey that I have consumed prior to shuffling them.

Re: Slippery faux clays

Do they look the same as the normal ones? I recall my FC's having a noticeably "dull" appearance, like they were chalky.

Re: Slippery faux clays

WHY did you have to announce this now?

My Faux are in my place now, i'll pick them up tomorrow and i hope that they aren't slippery as one of the main reasons i bought them was their stackability.

However, FAUX FOREVER!
