well i sure jumped the gun...

wow this has been a crummy week. I am really not impressed with NJ right now. I just received my chips from the pso promo I bought off of Manity for $200, and guess what? they printed the wrong image! They sent me the ones from the first proof that i told them to change, so these:

...instead of my second proof, which i approved. These:

not to mention the fact that there is bad bleeding on some (a little bleeding is expected) and the range of sharpness is very inconsistent. Some are crystal clear and others and horribly blurry with faded colour on the border too. Also about 1 in 5 is a spinner. Now I'm really in a funk, I hope they can do something about it. I can't take pics at the moment, but u get the idea . They havent replied to my email, I will call on monday, u guys think they will fix this mistake?

Re: bad experience with NJ :(

Nevada Jacks is usually pretty good about their customer service...I'd wait until you hear back from them before making any snap decisions.

Re: bad experience with NJ :(

As NJ pays for a thread in the marketplace, I think I would have contacted NJ customer service before making this post, as a courtesy.

That said, I hope everything is resolved to the satisfaction of both parties.

JVS

Re: bad experience with NJ :(

Of course I wish you the best of luck in a quick satisfactory resolution, that said, I will never do business with NJ.
My first and only experience with them was when they had a close out on their Martini Clay line. I ordered 300 of the chips, online and received email that they would ship in three days. I called after four days to see why they hadn't shipped, and was told there was a problem with my card, not saying that couldn't happen but it would have been the first time in several hundred transactions. Then the lady claimed that email was sent and that they tried to call, although I never received any email other than the first confirmation and no messages where left on my answering machine, and now they were all sold out of the chips: 'to bad you lose'

They made no attempt to off set my sever disappointment, and were as I can not prove there was deceitfulness, the odds of all three of their statements being factual seem to me as likely as hitting a one outer three times in a row.

Please let me know how your story ends,
Jonah

Re: bad experience with NJ :(

I've ordered a few times from NJ, the customer service was fine. Never had a problem but we certainly had some conversations (email, chat) about what I was ordering, pricing, delivery times etc. I was never diappointed.

I've ordered at least 1/2 dozen times from Nevada Jacks and never had a problem. There customer service has been tops for me. I'm sure that your problem will be resolved.

Re: bad experience with NJ :(

Maegnus, have you contacted them about the issues yet? They've been very good about customer service so far as I've experienced.

Re: bad experience with NJ :(

Even with the best companies sometimes a mistake happens, sad that it happened to you... and to get hit with duties on top of that just plain sucks. I have never delt with them (yet) but I would say they will help you out. From a business point of view it is always better to eat some profit loss than have an unheppy customer telling everyone about the bad experence... to be honest I would be surprised if they did not make this right.

Don't worry Maegnus you will find the silver lining in this cloud.
