Chips: 807 | | | Pictures of my new NPS and Samurai Chips Nothing you havent seen before, but I just got these today so I figured I would post some pics.
My new NPS chips. 300 total. This is my prize from winning D'Apache Code. Used the $275 gift card and paid the extra $60. Josh sent a free 300ct chip case too. Thanks again to Josh from ApachePokerChips (you the man)! I really like these alot more in person than I did in the product pictures. And I forgot just how rough and chalky brand new Paulsons are.
120 - $100
120 - $500
60 - $1000
====================================================
And here are the Samurais I just bought from a ChipTalk member. I only bought 100 chips to be used a heads up set. I like them so much after using them today that I just might buy more. The picture only shows 90 chips because I needed 10 $5 chips but he didnt have any, so I bought 10 $100 chips from him and traded with someone for 10 $5 chips which are still on their way to me. Also pictured is the Samurai Dealer Button that I also bought. It is in mint condition. I did notice that I cant fit any of the Samurai chips into a 39mm airtite. The chips are too big. It was difficult to get the dealer button into the ringed airtite, but I made it work. Total I paid for 100 chips and the button was $98 shipped (seller offered to pay shipping but I wouldnt accept).

Chips: 790 | | | Re: Pictures of my new NPS and Samurai Chips I REALLY like how the 500 has that two tone edgespot configuration!
I didn't think that would look that nice, but it really blends well when you have that tall stack of 500's!
Nice job on the Code and congratulations on that sweet set! |

I've I wanted another headsup set I would totally get those NPS chips for it using the 100 and 500. But right now I just got charged for my 2nd batch of ASM's so no chips for awhile, that and I just got my hotstamped TR Kings.

Both packages arrived at the same time. I had to convince the lady to play some poker with me, I just couldnt wait to use them. I went to the store and bought a pack of pink Bicycle cards so she couldnt say no.
The Samurais feel awesome. I kinda wish I would have bought them new, but I really wanted the dealer button and buying these was the only way I was ever going to get one. If I have some extra money any time soon I may sell these Samurai chips and pay the extra couple bucks to buy them new. |

Mostly because they broke away from the old inserts. Then when they started selling them I didnt really like the inlay too much and the price was too high. I had the gift certificate that I had to use on Apachepokerchips, and the NPS were my favorite chips on the site. I almost got some Deadwoods instead, but when JM sent me a pic of a NPS chip he labeled I was sold. Im trying to create a label for them right now. I thought I wasnt going to like them that much, but they are stunning in person and the inlay really doesnt bother me much anymore. Depending on how my custom label comes out, I may just end up keeping them as is. |
