Paulson Starburst Pricing

Hey, just got a second chance offer through eBay, I just threw out a bid on a set of Paulson Starburts, and it didn't sell so I got a second chance offer. I don't really need them but the price seems pretty good.

So 600 Paulson Hat and Cane starburst

200 White
200 Blue
100 Red
100 Yellow - Yellow have another hotstamp under the starburst so this might redue the value some but not alot for a plable set as you can make it out unless you really look. Seller say they look to have never been used and the pics look nice, seller also have 667 feedback with 100% positive so not worried there.

So it this a good deal for $479. Which comes to .798 per chip so just under .80 per chip shipped.

Re: Paulson Starburst Pricing

Be SURE that this second chance offer actually came from the seller. There's quite a bit of fraud with second chance offers on ebay!

Re: Paulson Starburst Pricing

Not bad if the condition is near mint. The lighter colors like white and yellow usually go for about $1 ea. If you don't really need them, throw them a counter offer...

Was the 2nd chance offer from Megachips the original auction seller?

Re: Paulson Starburst Pricing

Be VERY careful of second chance offers from ebay. Most are fakes.

Re: Paulson Starburst Pricing

OK, I've been around the block atleast once, but thanks for the warnings anyway, you never know when it will actually help someone. Yes the second chance offer is legit through eBay, its in my eBay messages folder and has the link to the eBay page with a buy it now button with my high bid that at the time didn't meet the reserve. At the time I figured the price was right and hell a set of Paulson starbursts would be nice. But I don't need them and have plenty of stuff to do with the money instead but was wondering if I should grab it if it a good deal, if its only an OK deal then I will have to think about it.

Also, yes its an auction from megachips on eBay.

Thanks again

Re: Paulson Starburst Pricing

I followed this auction......I think its a good deal, not great, but good...Definetly a very good price if you want these chips and like the colors.

I would of bought them in a heartbeat for that price had they been different colors, and that is the selling point for me as well as probably most people on Starbursts....Colors and condition..I really wouldnt even want red and blue or yellow starburst chips, so I wouldnt even pay .70 cents a piece for them in mint condition....white, definetly.

Had these been some of their more nicer color lines, it would be an excellent deal...just my opinion-

P.

Re: Paulson Starburst Pricing

I was thinking it would make a nice cash set but hey I already have my ASM set with more comming and got some Matsui's as a small travel cash set so I really don't need them. So I will probably just pass and he will probably relist them so if anybody is intersted watch eBay in a few days as the second chance offer doesn't expire for a day or 2.
