Chips: 418 | | | Roman Mold, is ASM no longer offering it??? Can anyone actually confirm that ASM is no longer making the Roman Mold for their chips?
Here is the thread I read about? http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/custom...ist-asm-5.html
Also, if this is true will they allow you to add on to your sets, with the Roman Mold in the future?
It would be nice to hear from jimb on this one. |

Chips: 418 | | | Re: Roman Mold, is ASM no longer offering it??? I sent an email asking them, whats going on so I will have to wait and see I guess. It would be a shame if they do not let us add on to existing sets. I would really be unhappy, and it would be a shame from them to be able to just get rid of a mold and not let people who already have the mold use it again. Who knows h mold or horsehead could be next. I hope not but we will see. |

I have a custom order placed with them back in January with the 1/4" GB on the Roman Mold. Art was approved in late March and CC charged in early May but still no chips. I'm not too concerned but if it is problem down the road I would want change molds if possible. I think pressing the mold is the last step.
Let us know what you hear pkf. |

Also, their Chip Designer page still includes the Roman Mold as well. |

Chips: 418 | | | Re: Roman Mold, is ASM no longer offering it??? Just got word from Cathy, she said they will not be offering the mold and that existing customers will be able to add to their sets. I hope this is true, or as I stated in my email to her, I want to add more chips and some different denominations, but I don't want to postpone my order any. |

Chips: 14 | | | Re: Roman Mold, is ASM no longer offering it??? I just ordered clay chips from PCOL today. (Very excited!) I had been waffling between Roman and Horsehead molds... I was told that the Roman mold is getting old, and will only be used for existing customers that already have Romans.
They are afraid of the mold getting too worn, and they want to be able to service existing customers, which is why no new customers can order it. |
