A drawback about Sniping chiptalk members only Jamby Won

The one drawback I have had from sniping is that if someone you know is sniping the same item you won't find out until the end and the two of you just shot the price way up.
The item in question was 24 Paulson Winners Club chips. All the bidders on this item were chiptalk members. If I or Jamby would have not bid the item would have gone for $22, but instead it went for $50.50!

Here's the bid list:

http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=250011579163

We are bidding against each other!

Just to clarify...I am a Jets fan, not a Bucs fan. Although I don't know which would be worse...

Dude, I'm a 'Niners fan... Jets fans are "high society" to me.

I am a Bucs fan from back in the day. I grew up with Bucs pj's. We are a rare breed although quite a few bucs fans came out of the woodwork a few years ago if you know what I mean.

Really, Roland?

I gotta imagine you are near my age. That means you woulda been a Bucs fan in the late 70's/early 80's... They were the worst team in the league in the early to mid 80's... They were 2-14 in what, '83? And I know they set a record for 12-straight seasons of losing more than 10 games...

You were one dedicated kid.

I know, the best was when they interrupted regularly scheduled programming to show the team bus driving from the stadium to the airport via overhead helicopter! For those of you who are not familiar with the area, it is about a 5 mile drive, but they had airborne coverage of every mile!

For the niner's fan...I can't feel too sorry for you. At least you had your time of dominance. I am still waiting......

Being a Viking fan is worse. Jets and Bucs fans will stay loyal to the cause. Viking fans jump off the bandwagon before the end of November with a winning season.

Yeah, but only when 1/2 of the starting offense gets arrested for lewd and lacivous conduct and the head coach gets disciplined for scalping his complimentary Super Bowl tickets. Not because of any onfield performance issues.

I'm with you Roland. I've been a bucs fan as long as I can remember. That nasty pirate with the yellow stripes! That was a true test of fanhood. That and the 0-26 start.
