Chips: 28 | | | Anyone seen/played with these? Has anyone dealt at all with these? http://www.thepokerchipcompany.com/h...tyle_1003.html
I assumed that they were cheapo metal slug chips, but I saw them on a P* commercial and they sounded soft and the edges looked nice and round. Not the best looking chips, but with a nice hot-stamp, could be something.
Anyone?

High quality, injection molded chips probably a step or two below real clay chips.
These are far better than your standard, plastic injection molded chips but the question boils down are they a good value for the price (.45/chip). Faux clays are much cheaper and solid, real clay chips are just a bit more expensive.
Someone had some of them for sale recently in the M2M forum. |

Anyone? | I have samples -- nice chips. There's quite a bit of discussion on this site -- search on "1003". |

Chips: 28 | | | Re: Anyone seen/played with these? so, are they more like an RT Plastics chip? i have a stack of RT's and absolutely love 'em. Better than most real clays, IMO. But RT's can be like .90 apiece...

Chips: 1 | | | Re: Anyone seen/played with these? from: http://pokerchipreviews.com/injection.html Casino Quality Clay Composites: Just when you thought you'd seen everything. An injection molded chip that is a serious threat to the ceramic and compression molded buyers out there. Everyone at my office that laid their hands on these chips immediately fell for them. These are *VERY* nice chips. If you like their looks, then I highly recommend you order a sample to check out. There is no metal insert in these, as you can see in the picture. Great quality as well. These chips have raised the bar.

They are very similar chips. Frankly I'm surprised that TPC is still getting $0.45 each for blanks (although it is a better quality chip). |

Chips: 28 | | | Re: Anyone seen/played with these? Hey guys, Thanks for all the advice and stuff, but I'm at a gov't computer and can't go to any of the site you listed. Is there a way to post a pic or copy some of the text? I'd really appreciate it. BTW, thanks for paying your taxes... hehehe
