Chips: 349 | | | Other casino chips like the Condado's Does anyone know of other casino chips that use the same mold as the Condado Beach's? I know the $1 chips are too hard to get much less in any quantity. So I would be interested to know of any other $1 casino chips that are using the same mold.
Thanks |

Thanks |

It is on the current $1 chips at The California, The El Cortez, and Fitzgeralds.
The older Riviera rack had them as well, but now they use a house mold.
Not sure what others, but it is pretty common.
~dustin | That is incorrect, the mold is different. There is no recessed inlay on the Condado's and they weigh a lot more. Plus the inlays are shaped. |

The weight has nothing to do with the mold, nor does the shaped inlay.

Chips: 349 | | | Re: Other casino chips like the Condado's True but the mold is still different. I have a set of classic TH&C's and some samples of the Condado's and they aren't the same. I'm having a hard time understanding why this is even in question? Would like to move on to my original question if possible.
Thanks |

Chips: 1,775 | | | Re: Other casino chips like the Condado's Well, the weight is probably attributible to the fact that the Condados are a bit older. Lead shavings, and so on.
As to whether the mold is different or not, I don't have a clue. I wish I had, because that would mean that I owned a Condy.
edit: checked a pic of the condados... isn't that the mold with the longer cain? There are a few th&c molds out there. |
