Chips: 3,968 | | | ASM Releases the NO MOLD today I got an email from Glenda at PC.com today confirming that as of today, ASM offers the NO MOLD.
Here are the specifics on what she knows: Quote: |

This will be produced as full clay chips (no spots). | She had a sample chip on her desk in front of her as she was writing to me...
I am pretty close to putting in an order for these (instead of doing the design on a custom ceramic). If I do pull the trigger, I'll post pics, not to worry.

Sounds good if that is what you are going after. |

I did see an email Cathy at PC.com sent out that referred to them as the "crest and seal mold", so I think that is what they are thinking too...

Here's Cathy's email (basically the same information): Quote: |

The printable inlay can either be 1" centers with a printable area being 7/8" or the center can be 1 1/16" with a printable area of 1". Also this mold you will not be able to have edge spots but I see where you don't have any on your chips. So I am assuming that this is not a
problem. Pricing will be determined next week as well once we have done a few text runs to make sure the mold is still ok and the chips are up to our standards. Email me back towards the end of next and I should have all the details for you at that time. | Pricing to be determined... That probably means more expensive than their current clay solids...

Chips: 14,816 | | | Re: ASM Releases the NO MOLD today Interesting. Since there's no edge spots, I bet these can be produced much quicker than spotted chips. No cutting and pasting little bits of clay and aligning the inlay before pressing!
