Chips: 32 | | | Are Faux Ckay chips really going extinct? I have been looking for a new tournament set of chips and after finding this site was pretty set on getting some Faux Clays. I was going to order some samples, but it seems like time is running out to get these. So I then decided to just buy 500 of them since just about everybody says they can't be beat for the money. And now, of course, I feel like I should buy 1000+ just in case they become extinct. My tourny's are 10 people right now, but if/when it grows to a multi-table event I'll probably want more than 500 chips. Anybody know for sure if they are being discontinued?
Right now I'm leaning towards an order of 400 reds, 300 greens, 200 blacks, and 100 purples for a T1000 game with blinds starting at 5-10. I'm also going to order a 1000 chip bird cage carrier and 10 plastic racks (unless there is a better suggestion for chip storage?).
So should I buy the full 1000 now, or do you think they'll still be around in another year or so?
Thanks,
Greg |

When I saw that just last week they ran out of orange, I went ahead and ordered 1000 more chips. |

We're working on some options but its down the road- for what you can buy these for now- it may pay to buy the 1000 chips- not talking alot of money

and shop for the birdcage (I have two of these and they suit my needs just fine) Price can be 2x as much for the same cage one source to another...
Congrats on the set! |

Get um' while ya can if ya want specific colors.
They may be gone tomorrow... |

Would it be possible to do a Group Buy on Faux Clay from a chip maker that can make them with the ability to take hotstamping? I'm sure with a low price members might be buying these by the thousands. |

From what I read, the material of the super diamond is supposedly the same as the faux clay??? I got confused and stopped following it, but I think that's what Joe was saying, though it doesn't feel like it at all
