Chips: 225 | | | Your thoughts on a couple chips I was entertaining the idea of get a big set of "cheap" chips for big tournaments. I have a set of paulson's, but need more chips for a bigger tourney and was hoping to go with something cheap, but that people would still enjoy playing with (not the bee plastic chips!) I was wondering what chiptalkers thought about the premium clay chips, faux clay chips, and 10g 6-stripe sopranos. Which one do you feel is a better "cheap" chip? Thanks for any thoughts | | Sponsored Links | |

Here come the FCN
You;ll shortly hear from about 25 people who will tell you that there is only one good 'cheap' chip: the faux clay. |

Chips: 64 | | | Re: Your thoughts on a couple chips Faux Clays will work, of course. If willing to bump up a little more in cost, I'd go with the 10-gram Sopranos. But make sure they're the 10g versions. |

Out of those three, as well as Soprano 10g, I like the faux clays the best. If you have to have security with your chips, get stamped super diamonds. |

Faux clays are the best of the cheap chip bunch.
I would go with those, but if you need security go with hotstamped super diamonds.
(Wow, my post is basically re-writing BigKyle's, oh well)

Chips: 102 | | | Re: Your thoughts on a couple chips Faux Clay sound the best and they are probably the cheapest. I heard that it may be hard to get hotstamping. If you need cheap chips that can be hotstamped Super Diamond's are good and they have plenty of colors to choose from. Unfortunately they don't have as good a sound and feel as the Faux Clay.
I think the new rage might be hotstamped blank clay chips but that might run you fifty to sixty cents each. |
