Chips: 427 | | | Thank you to chiptalk members I stumbled onto chiptalk accidentally via another poker site. Instantly I knew something was different about this site. Everyone seemed to be positive and full of good will. My first impression was right on the money.
I want to thank everyone who helped us send chip sets, cards, racks, stickers, and a bunch of other stuff to our men and women serving in the military. The response was tremendous. Everyone was so helpful.
Thank you kimdol13, donut, WolfPack, Straightflush.ca, Stank1000, bolgenmod, BPTdirector, qwertwert, Wylecoyo, Sandy Creek, Tripod22, jojobinks, Captn_all_in, Poyboy, jadillon, Trav, HanahanStan, Oldcycles, Big MIke, CaptLego, Matthew, BrakeDust, WINTERS, Dawg, tm55417, tomb1, and Cellemetry. Chips: 39 | | | Re: Thank you to chiptalk members Bee - It is us that thanks all of you for supporting us. The media is not always very favorable, but we see the changes that are taking place here. This is my third time if 4 years (and hopefully the last). Many, many hours of enjoymeny can be directly linked to a "Group Buy" of Faux Clay chips for servicemembers. See you at the tables!!

Chips: 1,483 | | | Re: Thank you to chiptalk members Thanks to you beekeeper. That really was a great idea, and it makes us all feel a little better as a community. It was nothing like the sacrifices that folks actually serving in Iraq make, of course. But sort of "a feel like we did something to make their days go by a little bit easier" kind of feeling. They are fighting over there for all of us, and it is too easy to just forget them and their sacrifices.
P.S. Did miss me on your list, but I was a last minute contributor. Missed this post somehow for a while. . . . Quote: |

Whether I agree with this war makes no difference, our troops are in harms way. If what we did can make a soldiers down time just a little more enjoyable it's worth it. I hope they are all home soon and can join us on CT or at one of our home games.
