Just curious what the rest of you think are the best chips for shuffling.
I've got a playable set of uncirculated Club Cal-Neva Casino HHR hotstamped roulette chips that are a dream to shuffle. By far the most effortless, comfortable and enjoyable shuffle of any chips that I own.
I assume they are ASM, but am not positive. They feel a bit lighter to me than my other HHR ASM sample chips, but I might be mistaken. I don't have a scale that's accurate to that degree to be certain.
I really wish that one of my finer sets of Condados or Ambassador Plaza Paulson casino chips were my shuffling favorites, but they aren't. Not even one of the better home sets that I own like that Pharoh's, Egyptians or Samurais.
For me, it's easiest to shuffle a stack of $1 ceramics (I assume ChipCo's) that I picked up from local Indian casino. Of course, I'm just learning how to shuffle chips and I'm not very good. I suspect that the more rounded edges of the ceramics are make shuffling them easier.
I really like my $1 paulsons from the local casino. They are effortless to shuffle and sound exquisite. Next in line would be my faux clays. Once broken in, these are very easy to shuffle, but are a bit on the light side.

Don't know about which are the easiest, but when I'm sitting at the computer I reach for a stack of 10 of my custom ASM's that are well broken in from all of the shuffling, or a stack of my old Pharaoh's.

right now id have to say chipcos.....My martini club clays still have an edge on them after 30 uses.which makes them hard to shuffle..(tough chips) i cant speak for paulsons since i only have a few samples
Are you referring to the BJ coin-in-center chips only or to all BJs? I completely agree about the CIC chips.
I don't have any CIC BJ's. I am talking about the regular V7 chips used at The Bike and Commerce. Everything else is easy for me except those darn BJ's.
