Chips: 64 | | | Is All-In Chips Going out of Business? When I tried the All-In Chips Home Page ( http://www.allinchips.net/) I got this: Catalog Unavailable
We are Sorry
We are currently not processing any new orders.
Thank You
Holdem High I hope this doesn't mean they're going out of business. I was thinking of picking up a small set -- was just waiting for them to get their Blues back in inventory. | | Sponsored Links | |

There's a store near me that sells these retail if you're dying for a set. I could mail them to you or I'll be driving through Virginia in October sometime.

When we stopped being a large importer almost 2 years ago- so many of our customer base had folded- primarily because of Ebay. Everyone thought they could make a great living on ebay- and found the competition was gruesome. Plus- many of the ebay resellers' distributors also sold retail and when they ran specials we actually LESS then the reseller was paying WHOLESALE--
Ironically, the higher quailty products are now in demand and the cheap products are a dead item.
I am also surprised to see this company packing it in IF that's what they are doing- but it sure looks that way.

Chips: 4,385 | | | Re: Is All-In Chips Going out of Business? If they actually are out of business, I think All-in's problem might have been that their product wasn't either high end or cheap, it was in the middle somewhere. Their chips had a unique feel to them and were a huge improvement over dice chips, but people who wanted quality probably went with ceramics or the premium clays more often. People who didn't know quality would just go with the "11.5g official weight clay" set that cost half as much.

Mike | Yes, I think you're probably right. Plus the fact that so many reviewers basically recommended that buyers stay away from them because they weren't durable enough. Although I think they got a bad rap on that one. |

Chips: 3,421 | | | Re: Is All-In Chips Going out of Business? Unless they are shutting down to ramp up for a new product line. A better clay or a new type ceramic chip.
The chips they did sell were like a soft Soprano's chip. Many didn't like the material. It was a clay like material but still way too soft.
With the popularity of other high quality chips out on the market, I can see how they, and many others have had a touch time staying in business. |

I have a friend that uses them for large tourneys and the were way better than the dice.
He is not doing the tourneys anymore so if anyone is looking I will ask if he wants to sell them. |

Chips: 19 | | | Re: Is All-In Chips Going out of Business? Too bad, I thought they had a decent chip. Kind of like the 1003/1006 or Sopranos, but a lot more expensive. They had been coming down in price lately, but I guess it wasn’t soon enough. |

Chips: 166 | | | Re: Is All-In Chips Going out of Business? I wonder how many companies will be selling chips 1 year from now? In 3 or 5 years? I'm betting not many. The fast profits selling plastic chips from China are over. If you bought one of the 10,000 different plastic chips that came from China, and you want to add to your set, good luck. Many are already out of production and more soon will be.
