Faux clay vs Nexgens

Hey guys, what do u rekcons worth my money?? i can get a good deal on a set of 1000 of each. Im upgrading from dice chips and have never felt these ones. I like the nexgen looks, but the faux clays look boring but apparently stack and sound nice.

Thanks

Re: Faux clay vs Nexgens

IMOP, the nexgens look nice, nice edgespots. Stack worth a crap and sound like plastic. These were my very first set and have upgraded to all kinds of clay, but for the money I would go Faux....

Wow, they look like BJ WSOP chips ripoff. Actually you can make a very close WSOP set with the right labels. Did you say they stack like faux clays? Sweet!!

All I hear is the sound, I get no video, probably due to my browser. How does a stack of 20 compare to Faux Clay in terms of slipperyness?

Re: Faux clay vs Nexgens

As a representative of the Faux Clay Nation, I may be a wee bit biased in my opinion but I will recommend the faux clays. While they may not look too flashy, they handle very well and are well worth the cost. Heck, with the money you save, you could even get some nice Copags, beers, or even more chips.

faux clay all the way!!!

I have nearly 2000 faux clays. Every chip shall be judged according to those.

Re: Faux clay vs Nexgens

How about a non biased opinion?
I agree Faux Clays are great for the money, and if that's what you want (a great deal) then you should get Fauxs. I can't say they're a big step up from Dice chips, but they certainly ARE a step up from Dice chips.

If you want to label your chips then I have to say go with a Nexgen (or the Monacos like rakdesign mentioned). Although you CAN label Fauxs, you can label any chips really, but Nexgens are MADE to take labels (with their recessed centers). If you don't plan on self labeling your chips, then I can't really recommend a Nexgen to you.
