National Poker Series plaques

I used my new NPS plaques for the first time this weekend. This was my first experience with plaques so I didn't know what to expect. My group loved them and so did I. But the most amazing thing to me was - and here is how shallow I am - my ability to shuffle them on my first try. I couldn't believe it! I can shuffle plaques!

Re: National Poker Series plaques

I used my formal plaques for the first time last night and I was amazed at how many different names people used for them. I heard them called "cards", "boards", "slabs" and "plates". Some people asked if they were in play and part of the starting stack. Seems not too many non-chipaholics have a clue about these things. Funny stuff.

Re: National Poker Series plaques

I've seen a number of pics of these plaques and even with numerous chips in the pics also. But could someone post a pic of these compared to a bridge size playing card?

This would be really nice and if you have more than one type of plaque that would be even cooler, like the acrylics, NPS and Egyptians next to a bridge and/or poker sized card would be awesome.

They (NPS) have the same footprint as a credit card.

Re: National Poker Series plaques

Here are two examples of the matsui plaques. The smaller is the same size as a deck of Poker size cards. the larger is a quater inche longer.

I hope this helps. PM me if you have any iterest in these types of plaques.
