This Friday I am the tournament director for a charity NLHE event. On the side they are doing a raffle to try to raise a few more bucks. Someone had agreed to donate a set of "11.5 gram official weight" poker chips which they had won at some other function. So the raffle tickets are all printed up and for some reason the donator of chips reneges on his promise.

So, yesterday, I had to go out and buy a set of ............Dice chips.
I feel so dirty.

Oh well, those are the "official weight chips", don't feel to bad at least you came through!!!

You should have bought some faux clays....you would have saved some money, although they wouldn't have been official weight chips??!!

I deal charity & private NLHE tournaments for the Long Island Poker & Casino. We use the dice mold 11.5 gram chips with labels on them for the values. I have to soak my hands in warm soapy water for about 15 minutes to get rid of the insert smell at the end of the evening.
