Jamby is referring to the annual Membership Meeting and Convention of the Casino Chip & Gaming Token Collectors Club, Inc. (CC>CC). This event takes place over a four day period, each year, in Las Vegas, NV, the defacto casino memorabilia collector's Mecca in the World!
I highly recommend membership in the CC>CC, as if affords additional events and activities, not open to the public, at the annual Convention. What is available to the General Public, for a daily $5 fee (a temporary, one-day, limited membership) is the Convention Bourse Floor, an area of over 100 dealers, buying and selling all sorts of casino collectibles and memorabilia. The bourse floor is open, generally speaking, 10 am to 4 pm, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Non-public events include a poker tournament, a blackjack tournament (both at the Palms), a pre-event banquet and awards event w/keynote speaker (Wedenesday), an auction (Friday night), three educational seminars, and multiple trade sessions.
This year's event is set for June 28 thru July 1st, at the Riviera Hotel and Casino.
