Recieved free BRPRO set

Did the ECD promo for the 300 set of BRPRO tournament chips (option to the tikis). I like 'em! Good texture, great graphics, cool design. I like the fact that I can get the high denomination chips later if I end up collecting these. My wife likes them too so it's win-win

Re: Recieved free BRPRO set

Which site were you playing at?
Stakes?
Time/Hands to clear the bonus?

I'm interested in doing the same, but I'm worried about having to play thousands and thousands of hands at a game that's too high for my bankroll. Without information from people like you I think I may be better off just paying cash for them.

Thanks

Re: Recieved free BRPRO set

Dream Poker (prima skin)
1/2 LHE, full ring
approx 6hrs to clear 2-3 tabling.

If you've never played prima, here's some hints:

Mainly european so play MST noon-5pm, it tightens up like a gnat's butt after that.
Use pokertracker and a HUD.
Style of play is WAY different than say, party. Lots of weak-tight, a higher concentration of TAGs. Some maniacs, very few LPP (the true fish). I've seen people call a 3way flop with everything from trips to an OESFD. Overall, I rate it weak-tight. Semibluffs go up in value, value bets go down. You need much "thicker" value bets than on PP.

I can't advise on NLHE at prima but I'm sure you can find someone who's abused prima bonuses in NL like I have in limit.

Re: Recieved free BRPRO set

6 Hours 2/3 tabling?

Holy crap... I may be up for that, even if it is over my usual limit.

I'm guessing I'd probably be working more towards the .25/.50 NLHE tables, but even if it took 12-15 hours 2/3 tabling I'd still be interested.

I'll have to think this over. I'm still worried about losing more than the value of the chips if I had just bought them outright. If I'm going to have to deposit $500 to the site, and risk losing all of it, I may just rather spend the $300 for the set anyway.

From what he described you only need about 1500 hands to clear this bonus and if you can't avoid -10BB/100 at 1/2LHE, you don't really have any use for poker chips anyway, hahaha.

Re: Recieved free BRPRO set

Did anyone see the custom chips that they are offering as an option for this same bonus? If so, what do you guys think of them? There were 3 different designs you can choose from. Its not a fully customized chip, just putting your own name etc on the chip, and its also a 250 chip set as opposed to the 300 chip set for the tikis/brpros.

Re: Recieved free BRPRO set

I did this promo at Poker rewards. It cleared very fast only needing 750 raked hands. Here's a link to the original post http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/online...r-rewards.html
