Auction on PR was listed a few days ago. The listing including the following information:
Poker Chips in Case Black leather case with brass latches and a black leather handle is lined with green velvet and has eight valleys for holding poker chips. The case measures 20 1/4" x 8 1/2" x 2 1/4". The leather on the corners of the case is splitting. The valley separators are loose.
The case contains an assortment of plastic poker chips in red, white, blue and black. There are no denominations on the chips just the letter T in gold on both sides.
Condition: Fair
However, looking at the photos, something struck me that these look a little better than plastic chips
I imported the photo into PhotoShop and played around. I am 99% sure I can see the T&C in the mold (or is it wishful thinking), and I feel the hotstamp was a positive clue. There appear to be around 600 chips
I won the auction for $23, after a last minute attempt at a steal by another CT'er...
So did I get a deal, or is it a dud?
Any opinions?
Of course the final answer will arrive sometime late in the week
