I think they look pretty nice. I really like the gold one and it sounds like they are decent-sized pieces. Pricey though.

Which are the new ones? The ovals? Because haven't the rectangle ones been around for a while?

I just saw the shiny gold 1000's as well as the oval 500's. I had seen cheaper-looking plasticy ones with simple denoms on them, but not these. Maybe they have been around and I am just really late? If so, my apologies as I thought these were very new.

Trident just started carrying these. enter 'chiptalk' in the code for 10%, they just started offering us that break.

I bought some of 500 and 1000 directly from Dal Negro awhile back. I sold some on M2M. This is the first company I ever saw that actually have these for sale. Unfortunately, they do not have higher denominations. The size for the 500 and 1000's is 95x66mm (a little larger than a deck of poker size cards).

The ovals are okay. Did anyone see the Monte Carlo tourney where they played with all plaques? One type was round, and one rectangular. I would love a set like that!!!!

I got some blue $1000 one time and I was dissapointed in the size when I got them.
So make sure you check on the size before buying.
You know what they say about assuming.

HOw is the weight on these things? Are they all plastic?
