This may be covered elsewhere..but I couldn't find it. I see alot of people referring to their NJ's, saying these are PSO NJ's. Is there a difference between the ones you get from PSO and the one's you buy direct? Sorry if this is a dumb question..somewhat new to the chip addiction thing, but it is QUICKLY growing
Same chips, just obtained from different sources. The PSO chips are made by Nevada Jack's, but offered as an incentive for playing online through PSO. Everything else is still made by NJ, but can be purchased from about a million different sources.

Thanks for the info...I wasn't sure if they were a lower quality chip because they were a promo, or factory seconds or something..glad to hear they are not as I have put together a collection of 800 of them through PSO and ecasinodeals...they seemed nice enough to me
PSO NJ's are generally worth less because people realize they were a free gift... but they are the exact same chips you would get if you bought a 300-chip set direct from NJ or HPC.
The 300-set (whether PSO or not) is not customizable, so being forced to take certain denoms (100 - $1 & $5 and 50 - $25 and $100) can also negatively affect prices.

I agree..i didn't like not being able to customize the denoms, so I purchased my next 500 chips in 50 chip quantities so that I now have enough chips for cash or tourney games
