Anyplace to get really good closeups of the 2005 WSOP chips? I'm making a sample set frame of the BPC replicas and wanted to put pictures of the originals under each replica.

Wish I had an answer for you erikk, but I've been tryin to find a source for the same pics too. So I'll sit here and wait with you until someone helps us out

Yeah I got decent pics of the 25, 100, 500 and 1000 there but no higher denoms. And also the shots aren't really the best (they have hands holding them, etc) .

Does anyone know what Boston used for reference when making the replicas?

There has been a lot of WSOP chip pictures on Chiptalk. Unofrtunately I don't have the time right now but guess it's possible to find it using the search function.

Presuming you're talking about the 884 post thread in his forum (not as easy to find now that he's not in the marketplace but the threads and forum are still there) I read the entire thing and there weren't really even many good shots in that thread. I was hoping that somewhere there'd be face on shots with a generic background (ie felt). But I guess they didn't want anyone getting close-up shots like that of all the chips.

One of the members - - darn if I remember who - - actually used the chips on the BJ website (I think) as a guide to get specific scale and dimension. If I remember correctly, the guy basically cut/paste and painted on with the colors to be used.
