I went to my New favorite poker supply store and low and behold they have NJ skulls for sale. I was thinking about buying them until I started to thumb thru them only to notice some chips are really sharp in color and clarity, while others are faded and blurry. Whats the deal?

I noticed that with mine to, when I bought them they were shiney, now there not....I will let you make your own judgement call on that, maybe there were handled alot by customers or when the store closed they would go in the back and play

There was complains of faded NJ skulls from the PSO sets over at PSO late last years. NJ told the member to send the faded chips back and the chips were replaced and PSO refunded shipping charges back to the member.

my pso chips are no different than the ones I bought direct from NJ.

Perhaps the older chips? A bad pressing of the chips?

I believe it was just a bad run of printing the graphics according to NJ and not because it was PSO.
