Las Vegas Pro (large sticker) opinions?

Anyone have them? How do they perform... how many can you stack easily? How do they sound/feel?

Has anyone peeled the labels from them to relabel?

Should I bother to spend the $8 on ebay for a 5pc sample set?

Inquiring minds want to know!

Considering putting together a cheap yet custom tournament set. These may fit the bill if they will stack 40 high and feel/sound decent. I'm a sucker for sitting around peeling 2000 stickers in anticipation of putting on 2000 stickers!

Re: Las Vegas Pro (large sticker) opinions?

You may want to check out these: http://www.discountcasinogear.com/st...oduct2607.html

Or these: http://www.discountcasinogear.com/st...oduct2740.html

Or even these: http://www.discountcasinogear.com/st...oduct2600.html

You may have to wait a few weeks for them to get a few of the colors in (this also gives you time to get samples and see how you like them) but any of these options would prevent you from having to peeling stickers off.

As far as the quality, I would imagine they are probably pretty similar to the chip you have pictured in your post.

Re: Las Vegas Pro (large sticker) opinions?

I have samples of both these and the ones with the small inlay. The edges on the large inlays look great, but I doubt that they'll stack 40 high in any stable way... The small inlays seem more stable (larger contact area).

I'll be happy to send you my samples - just PM me your details and I'll have them on their way in the beginning of next week.

Re: Las Vegas Pro (large sticker) opinions?

I've had these, and for the money they are great. Large sticker stacks better than the small sticker, and you can stack them 40 high. The stickers come off easily if you try to peel them off, but they don't come off in normal use. You can find them w/o stickers but they cost more. There is no metal insert, which I consider a plus. They are a little lighter than an average clay chip but not too light.

If I had to buy cheap chips I'd get these or sopranos.

Re: Las Vegas Pro (large sticker) opinions?

I was gonna post the same thing as wyle, just get the blank 8 stripe and label them. But if you are determined to get the las vegas here is a cheap auction.

Re: Las Vegas Pro (large sticker) opinions?

I just sold a bunch of them and their pretty good cheap chips, much better than your standard dice or suited chips. Surprisingly, the larger inlay versions stack pretty good and you won't have any problems with stacks of 20 - 30. They do feel quite slick though but are good cheap chips. As for $8 for a 5pc sample, sounds high. You can get a 25pc sample here for 5.99 + S/H.

Re: Las Vegas Pro (large sticker) opinions?

I have the large and the small vegas and if I had thought about it, I would have stuck with the large and labelled them. They stack great, feel nice, sound good and are a decent cheap chip. The only downside is that they are a little light. I have about 1200 and everyone likes em in the tourneys I host.

Re: Las Vegas Pro (large sticker) opinions?

Thanks all!

I'm considering the LV pro chips because I've got a couple n00bies that want me to coach them on how to bizzeat teh onlinez pokah, so I worked a deal:

My bankroll, thier attention
They sign up for PSO sites, I sit at thier computer and play or they play and I command (probably later in the coaching).
They keep 1/2 of all the bonuses and a comp of pokertracker, I take the risk and coach them for:
1/2 the bonus and the PSO comps.

once we've got them $100-$150 clear they transfer my stake back to my neteller account. I think that by the time they watch me clear 3-4 bonuses for them they will have a good idea of how to beat .5/1 LHE and an established NT account with a small roll. goot idea, no? (Yes, I trust both of these guys with far more than the $500 it'll take me to stake this venture.)

Showing me those unlabeled chips makes me want to spend money! Curse you, Wyleco, curse you! Now I may just have them order more AB's for my harem and get the better looking $0.09 chips and label those....

next step, to convince an artist to make me a logo for "Clear Creek Card Club" for FREE!.

Re: Las Vegas Pro (large sticker) opinions?

FYI the chips that Wyle posted are not Las Vegas Clay blanks. LV Clays aren't 11.5 and don't have a metal slug. This is what LV Clay blanks look like in a small label:

http://www.pokershopping.com/50pc-9g...-blank_p8.html

Now that I'm thinking about it, I'm not sure I've seen the large label available in a blank.
