Is there any way to remove labels from compression molded chips like paulson or bluechip without damaging the chips? I like both Tophat & Cane and the Cigar & Snifter molds, but am not crazy about the available inlays.

I know that Palm will customize the trademark paulson home chips (Anyone had a set of these made?) and bluechip will sell blank or custom inplays (Again, anyone?) - but both are expensive.

Are there any other good ways to get high-end chips in plain editions?

No, but if you did I think the chip would be destroyed in the process. I do not think that you can get chips without something in the middle for counterfeit purposses.

The hot stamp is too bumpy for that.

No, I just tried that with some of the rippedsheet labels from Jason's group buy last year and it sticks quite nicely. Most were using them for the horsehead GB, but I found they work well on the cherry chips.

The label sticks fine, but it's bumpy as hell. At least the one I tried was. Different labels maybe?

could be, these are those vinyl ultra thin waterproof titanium coated diamond honed labels. (Well not the last two things really )

I would be amazed if you could remove the label without destorying the dexterity of the chip.

Along the same lines... has anyone used a vinyl label over the top of the inlay (no damage) on a Pharoah / Trademark chip?

The inlay is recessed and a thin label might fit and still be recessed!

I think the recess is 7/8"
