Re: WSOP Starting Stack

not to hijack your thread but what do you guys think a good final table starting stack should look like w/ the WSOP replicas, using any combo of denoms.

Also depends on the year you're trying to mimick, if that's the point.

I would say a sane final table value would be $10,000,000.

But like mtvernonbryan says, depends on the amount of chips you own/want to buy.

Re: WSOP Starting Stack

WSOP 2005 had about 56,000,000 in chips on the final table. That's equals more than 1000 $50,000 chips.

TT

Here's one just for fun, starting with a big stack for each "millionaire":

5 x $5,000
19 x $25,000
10 x $50,000
Total 34 chips with T$1,000,000 starting stack

Then color up using $100,000 chips before the end. You would eventually have just the top 2 denoms on the table ($50K and $100K), and a total of 270 chips at the end. That's makes for big fun stacks for 3-4 players and especially when you get heads up.

For 2 full tables (18 players) you would need:

90 x $5,000
360 x $25,000
210 x $50,000
90 x $100,000
Total 750 chips

Re: WSOP Starting Stack

But for the WSOP it's dollar for dollar, depending on the event some are 1,000 buy-in some are 1500, 2000 and on and on now i hear there is an event with a 50,000 dollar buy-in so starting stacks are not as big as you may think!
