I'm assuming these are like the Sopranos? Just curious, I hadn't heard of these before. I like my 10g Sopranos, not sure why they went with 11.5g for the kingpin.
The kingpins are different. The kingpins have a metal insert while the soprano's don't. There is a review of these upon www.pokerchipreviews.com. These are the same chip as the Neophytes on Buypokerchips.com/Sidepot.com.
The chips are one of the nicer cheap chips on the market IMHO.

Huh, good call, I got mislead by the 5star description.
They don't look nearly as good quality as my Sopranos, judging from this pic.
I got some samples of these, for an 11.5g chip they are nice. Definately the best i've seen. they dont have a metallic sound, they are pretty soft, and they stack really well.
1. The Sopranos are definitely a different chip from the Kingpins/Neophytes. The Kingpins are 11.5g with a metal insert. The Sopranos have a granular inner material with no metal.
2. The outside look is almost identical, and the rubbery material is also very similar. Both these have a nice feel and sound. I was amazed when I got them that they seem like the same chip, except for the insert. The Kingpins/Neophytes are also slightly thicker, and 20 of them will not fit in a Paulson rack, but 20 Sopranos will.
3. The Kingpins/Neophytes are definitely the best 11.5 g chip I've seen. They're more expensive that the cheap, hard, slippery Chinese dice chips, however. But the feel is much, much better.
