Paulson New Yorker Group Buy

I was thinking. With so much demand for the New Yorkers, why don't we get a group buy together for them and approach Paulson to make some more. I mean they have already made them, the casino is shut down, and their chips are all over the place. So, why not make some more. I bet we could buy 50,000 to 100,000 chips at least( mostly 500's and 1000's). Think about this.

They won't sell real casino chips to the public. You won't get the 43mm 1000, and whatever you do get will probably say PAULSON CHIPS around the edge

Although its a good idea, 50 to 100k would probably still be at least 200k short of what we would need to even get Pualson's attention. Half-a-million chips total would probably be the minimum they would entertain.

I think if there were ANOTHER 200k of these floating around, not as many people would be interested in them because they would be too readily available. I know a big selling point of these chips (for me at least), was that they were somewhat rare.

It would be nice, but this will never happen. 5 stardeal has about 750,000 chips on order with paulson and they would not even be able to do this. Paulson would not do this for $1,000,000. They got in trouble once for reproducing a chip from a casino that no longer existed. The Nevada Gaming Commision would be all over them if they repoduced a casino chip for the home market. The 43mm will never be produced for the home market by Paulson. If they did I would be totally shocked considering the high value of the denominations that are in the 43mm size.

I didn't realize the Nevada Gaming Comm. had any say over a casino in NY. I live in Louisiana and we have our own Gaming Comm.

Yes you do have your own gaming commisions, but guess where Pauslon is based out of. Look it up for yourself if you want. I am just letting you know how it is. If I even thought this was even a possibility I would have been all over this with the Crsytal Park and Vineyards years go. I did not spend one minute of time trying to make that happen knowing what I know. Money is not going to make this happen.

On the .000001 percent chance this did happen, they would not even remotely look like these and they would not have this size inlay, mold, edgespots, fleck, and 43mm size.

This may have been more of a possiblity 10 years ago, but now that GPI holds all the cards, they will not even let you use 8 top hat and canes in the mold. They will not even make the old style James Bonds. They have tens of thousands of those out there and they will not make any more like the originals. They will not even make the old fantasy casino chips like they used to make that they could not even remotely get in trouble for reproducing. Let alone a casino chip.

I wish they would do something like this, but Believe me this is not going to happen. I am not trying to rain on anyones parade here I just think with how Paulson is conducting their business, they are not going to even look into the possiblity of this happening.

Paulson wont even let papazoid use color combinations that may have been similar to those used at a casino, and thats on their home mold.
