Chips: 190 | | | Small cash game set? I'm thinking about a small cash game set of chips (300?) to be used when the guys bust out of the main tourney game, and I'm not really sure which way to go with the chips. I'm thinking about .25, .50, $1, and $5 denoms. Also I don't know which brand of chips, other then something that looks good. As always I go to the experts with these sort of questions. So you guys fire away on what you would do.
Thx

Maybe do 200 $0.25's and 100 $1.00's or possibly switch out the 100 $1.00's for 75 $1.00's and 25 $5.00's.

180 @ .25
100 @ 1.00
20 @ 5.00

My cash set has .05, .25, $1, $5, and then some $10, and $25 for rebuys when I have 20+ players over, then each table can choose the game they want to play .05/.10 NL, .25/$2 Spread Limit, .25/.50 Kill Game, etc., etc.
(of course this set also has 1500 chips which is not what your looking for!) |

In the future if I ever need to I may add a $20 or $25 chip, probably the former, that way it will never be confused with a tourney chip and its simple to give someone a $20 chip for a $20 bill for a rebuy.

The breakdown I was looking at was 100 $.25, 150 $1, and 50 $5. This will give be around $450 if all the chips were on the table at once (almost double what we have ever had on the table in the past).

getting the faux clays will make it easy when you move up in limits by getting more $1's. |
