I'm sure that most, if not all, poker pros have their home set of "chips of choice". Anyone have any evidence (anecdotal or otherwise) of what some may be playing "at home"? Just curious what someone might like who has seen and handled more chips than I probably will in lifetime.

The rank and file around here probably uses "better" chips for their home games than the the pros (generally speaking).
I can tell you that most pros don't care about chips. 11.5g dice will do them. 99% of the members here have better chips than the pros.
I know about half a dozen pros who play poker as their main/only source of income and they couldn't care less about which chips they use. When I tell them about nice chips vs ABS dice, they get that strange glassy look in their eyes. I believe even one of the famous ones said something about the "Official 11.5g chip." They know poker, not chips.
Great photos! It cracks me up to see the top players in the world playing a game while sitting around your basic kitchen table using the 11.5g official casino weight chips. It serves as a reminder you don't NEED the best table, chips, and cards to enjoy the game.

I was going to post some smart assey comment on here about how pro's MUST want to come home after a 20 hour session and shuffle poker chips. But, in all seriousness, didn't I read somewhere that Nevada Jack's made Greg Raymer a custom "fossil man" set of chips after he won the WSOPME?
