Chips: 4,648 | | | Bad Chipco's? WSOP 2005 Ok I am going to try and explain this without pic's (will try to get some on).
I just recieved my sample set of WSOP 2005 and the graphic appears to be off center.
The white ring is real thick on one side and almost non existant on the other side.
Out of 12 chips 5 are noticable with 3 being real bad.
None of my other Chipco sample sets have this problem and I was thinking about getting a complete set of these but this bugs me real bad.
Am I just being anal (shut up DJ) or is this something new?
Any comments from Chipco owners would be nice.
Other than that these chips are awsome. |

Chips: 18 | | | Re: Bad Chipco's? WSOP 2005 I looked at a lot of chipco samples before buying customs from HPC. You can expect a few to be a bit off-center, but it should not be really noticeable. Do any of them actually cut off the graphics, or does it just get close?
And yes they are awesome! I just reordered and now have a total 850. Quote: |

Other than that these chips are awsome. | I have 1000 of the wsop replica's (with more on the way) and I've only noticed 3 of them being really off center and only about 20 or so that are barely noticably off center. |

WSOP 2005 I almost wonder if the fact that these were made as a rush job and basically right before Christmas means the QC wasn't quite up to Chipco's normal standards. Before we heard about spinners being an issue (at least comparatively to other chipcos), now we're hearing about off-center labels.
It's making it easier for me to not buy a set of these (which has been VERY hard to not do). |

I just thought that 5 out of 12 was bad.
2 of the 5 are not so bad because the colors make it less noticable but for the same reason the other 3 look really bad. |

Of the 24 faces, this one is the worst alignment:
I've got one or two chips that could be considered very "mild" spinners. Not enough to be a problem whatsoever, and about the same behavior as other Chipcos in my collection.
One thing I did notice is that the edgespot pattern of the 50,000 chips has the spacing a bit off. All the other chips look like the edgespots would line up (if the edges lined up), but the ||*||* pattern on the rolling edge of the 50,000 has a spacing that doesn't quite line up with the face. No biggie, just someting I noticed.

Chips: 11,783 | | | Re: Bad Chipco's? WSOP 2005 Yup, I got my samples yesterday an noticed the same thing on pretty much all of them. I got the 1k, 5k, 10k, 25k & 50k chips and noticed the 'offcenter strike' to put it in numismatic terms.
