Chips: 504 | | | Vineyard Conspiracy.... This is meant as kind of a joke, but yet, kind of serious as well...I am convinced there has been some sort of conspiracy to over inflate the price of Vineyard chips over the years..I have only been collecting for a very short time, mainly purchasing chips through e-bay, and I've seen these chips go at ridiculous prices since I started, and even increase in value, and I dont quite get it....Alot of times I see the same people bidding on Vineyard auctions, only to re-sell them in a short amount of time...continually doing so, and it doesnt add up....
Anyways, I just thought it was interesting....they are nice chip of course, but there seem to have been alot of them in very good, even mint condition which surprises me to their over inflated price for these reasons...Just something I have always wondered about-

Chips: 39,028 | | | Re: Vineyard Conspiracy.... sellers bidding on items that they sell is not necessarily a consipracy. I will buy chips at $10 all day long when I know I can sell them at $25. Even ones that I have sold already. |

Chips: 504 | | | Re: Vineyard Conspiracy.... Yea, but these people dont make much profit Ten, thats why it doesnt make sense, and I just find it strange is all......its wierd to see it happen alot with these chips, and also random people popping up with very little ebay history and unloading a bunch of these....Perhaps I am just looking too much into things, and wish they were cheaper, lol.....I wonder what these chips used to go for 3-4 years ago.
I just dont understand or know the market history of these chips is all-

Chips: 1,986 | | | Re: Vineyard Conspiracy.... I've seen someone buying a ton of chips from a different line and then reselling them like the next minute (at a loss or no profit at best) and then buying more of them. I'll be honest I have no idea what the person was doing. I have ideas but they're so far-fetched I have trouble believing them myself. (and JM I have an idea it might be related to the classic JB paulsons you're talking about) |
