Hey there...I have seen many members here talking about the PSO ( PokerSourceOnline) promo chips. What type of chips are these exactly?? The site lists some 11.5 chips....is this really what they are??

If you have followed through with the promo, and have gotten your chips, could you please provide some more info! (Pics are great too!!)

Most people are going for the Nevada Jacks promo at PSO. So that is what they are getting - the Nevada Jack's skulls 300pc chip set. Now they offer an upgrade to a 500pc Desert Sands or 500pc American Beauties for extra money (or extra points if you have them saved up).

I did the NJ skulls promo back in December. After completing the raked hands requirement they notified that for $100 extra I could get 500 chips shipping included. Just after that they posted that offer in their forum, but now you can upgrade to DS for no cost or AB's for $150 more. You can also use PSO points to upgrade instead of money. Every 1000 PSO points equals $10.

I think you can only upgrade to the DS if you are going to the 500pc set. And if you get a 500pc set, it is not free. It is $100. The ABs are $150.

To upgrade to either the skulls or DS 500 pc set it costs $100. When I said no cost I meant no more expensive than the 500 skulls. Sorry for the confusion.

Hey Captn! If you have not join PSO, do so. It is worth it. The best promo to pick as your first one should be the NJ set. PSO limits that one to one per household/ip/home address, while for the others you can do as many as you like as long as you meet their T&C.

For all their gift, once you clear the required hands, it will be shipped free of charge to your door. The other gifts besides the NJ are not worth it, I would take the PSO points. Be aware that they have upgrade points for forum members, so join the forum and take a look. Upgrade this month is from 6000 to 9000 points (1000 pts=$10) and upgrade PokerTracker from single package to dual package (Holden & Omaha)

Best plan of attack would be to do the NJ promo thru Paradise as it is not an upgrade this month for 9000 while the other sites that have NJ's are upgrade to 9000.

In general the other gifts arent worth it. However, Poker Trackers is Entirely worth it if you dont have it., and poker academy is a fine limit holdem trainer.

Another good pso promotion is the Instant Bankroll. There are three levels in which you get either $100, $125 or $150 bonus, depending on your initial deposit.
Like the other promotions, you have to play a certain number of raked hands to qualify.

Actually, I consider "IB" the worse promo. It gives you the least, the only good thing is you don't have to put any money up.

For instance, IB at Party will give you $75 from PSO and after you have clear PSO portion at 500 rake hands, Party will give you $25 for total of $100. If you do the upgrade at Party for 9000 pts and deposit $500, after only 250 rake hands you will have 9000 PSO pt plus Party bonus $100 = $190.
