Rebuy Assumption for Chip Distribution Calculation
What do you all assume for the number of rebuys when you model your chip distros? For example, If you are assuming a 10 man tourney, how many rebuys is reasonable?half? All? Something in between?

Thanks,

That really depends on your group. Normally, I'd assume from 1/2 to all.
The good thing is it doesn't make too much difference, since you'll only need 1 or 2 chips per rebuy.

Re: Rebuy Assumption for Chip Distribution Calculation
Half of the total players is probably a good guess. In my games it seems to be about that many or within 1 or 2 of that either way more often than not. Your blinds format can have an impact too. If you have a longer rebuy period or if the blinds are higher toward the end of the rebuy period, you can probably count on more rebuys.
Re: Rebuy Assumption for Chip Distribution Calculation
I guess I will continue to model with 100% rebuy. Athough this is not liklely to happen, like you said CaptLego, it will result in only a marginal increase in chipcount.
