NJ break down for chips

I want to get that deal 500 set plus the 300
300 set comes with 100-1
100-5
50-25
50-100

We play with mostly 11 players
and every couple weeks we have a 18 man
I like to start with lots of chips.
Can any one give me a good break down on what denominations to get and a good start chip count and blinds.
Thanks

I'd do a bit of research on the Nevada Jacks skulls before buying them. Do some searching around here, you'll find a lot of folks are not happy with the quality of these chips.

Tourney or Cash?

If tourney - 11-18 players? what starting amount / starting blinds? Rebuys / Addons happening?

If cash - initial buy in? What SB/BB? how much gets into play?

For an 800 chip set - starting with

1 = 100
5 = 100
25 = 50
100 = 50

I would go: ($8875 in chips)

0.25 = 100
1 = 350
5 = 200
25 = 100
100 = 50

Works well for cash and pretty good for a T200 Tournament (starting 1/2 on blinds) up to 18 players with 1 rebuy for all - that would be T7200 in play ( you'll have T7500 using 100 25s and 50 100s).

Here's one option:
Based on building from that 300 set, you're main chips are $1 and $5 so a T200 buyin makes sense ($1/$2 starting blinds).
So for an 18 person game with 800 chips, you could go with something like this:

So each player would start with:
15 x $1
12 x $5
5 x $25
-------------------
total 32 chips/player, T200

You can use the $100 chips to the set for rebuys (I used 18 rebuys in the set above).
Add a few more $5, $25, and possible $100 chips for colorups.

So...if you round up the numbers to the nearest 25 chips, you'd end up with:
275 x $1
275 x $5
175 x $25
75 x $100
----------------
800 chips

Re: NJ break down for chips

Oops --- I messed up the colorup calculation in my previous post...
You'd only need 54 green chips to colorup the reds...
So you could go with:
275 x $1
275 x $5
150 x $25
75 x $100
----------------------
775 chips

Here's another variation that supports 20 players:

20 players, T200
Starting stacks:
15 x $1
12 x $5
5 x $25
-------------
32 chips/player, T200 (just like before)

But if you're set is:
300 x $1
300 x $ 5
160 x $25
40 x $100

then you could support 20 players with 20 rebuys, with enough red and green chips to colorup the whites and reds.

One probelm with this is that if your 300chips set comes with 50 blacks (while you only need 40 for this scenario)... then you'd end up with 810 chips, counting the xtra 10 blacks.
