Chips: 25 | | | Re: NJ holiday sale has started You can get a better deal by buying the skulls through chiptalk marketplace. I saw some 300 sets go for 33 cents per chip. NJ's are 37cents per chip w/o shipping. Now the martini clubs are looking tempting, since I bought a sample set a while back I get 10 bucks off making a set of 500 go for $365. Now I might find them used somewhere else for cheaper, but brand new that isn't to bad. |

If they could get the weight closer to 10g they'd still be at my house.

Chips: 25 | | | Re: NJ holiday sale has started Yes they look very good indeed, now what kind of breakdown would you go with on a 500 piece set. Since they have nothing higher than the $500 chip I was thinking 200($25)-200($100)-100($500). |

Chips: 120 | | | Re: NJ holiday sale has started I was hoping the sale would be a bit better. I wanted a 500 piece set, but have no need for the extra 300 chips.
Does anyone know if NJ sells the chips outside of a set? They don't have it advertised that way on their site, but if I could get 500 chips sans case I would be happy.
Otherwise if anyone wants a 300 chip set for $100 I would just order their deal and give you the extra 300. |

You're probably better off just going for the promo and then selling off the 300 chip set for $100 or whatever, and maybe you can get a few more bucks by selling off the case. Sure wish it was the Desert Sands design instead of the Skulls, I've always hated the skulls design.
You should be aware that NJ's has generally had a pretty hefty shipping charge in the past ($25 a set or something like that IIRC), so you should also factor that into your overall cost as well. Quote: |

Chips: 3,049 | | | Re: NJ holiday sale has started 500 loose Martini Club chips are what a 500-piece set with case/cards/dice? cost, 375. I may snatch up a set of the .25/$1/$5 chips for cash games, we'll see. All in all, 75 cents per for a clay chip with multi-colored edgespots isn't bad. | | Thread Tools | Search this Thread | | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
