Chips: 38 | | | Best quality, entry level chips... Hi, I am trying to get my home game going. I recently purchased 250 paulson pharoahs and am somewhat having buyers remorse lol.
I'm a college student with a limited income, well basically online and live poker are my main income. I spent a lot of money on these paulsons and love them to death, the feel of the clay chips are awesome and I would love to keep them, but I feel like I have just spent too much on chips.
These chips are so nice, I dont even want to play with them with other people and let them bang them down and stuff hahaha.
I am thinking about selling these and buying a good quality entry level chip. Previously I own some crappy composite chips from ebay that i bought for like $30. They dont stack for crap, they have chipped up pretty bad and I hate how slick they are mainly.
My question to you guys is, what chips would you recommend that are not over say .60c a piece but stack well, and arent very slick that preferably have the clay feel to them. I have never felt ceramics, but I would be interested in them too if the price is right and they meet the things i would like...
Any help would be awesome, and if anyone is interested in some $1 and $5 pharoahs let me know... $1-140 i have used 10 so thats why theres 140, and $5-100 |

Folks around here love the faux clays, which you can get 1,000 of them for under $100.
Lastly, you can nab some of the Nevada Jacks chips cheap from those who hate spinners. You can get a set of 300 for $100. |

Either that, or buy one of the NJ skulls sets that are all over the place these days. Around $100 for a 300 set, and you can bang 'em around all you want. edit: D'oh! Jedi beat me to it. |

they're a big drop down, but so are the skulls. these are the best for the money, without doubt.
if you want more flash, i'd get 500 nexgens, buy labels from one of the guys, and have 500 customs with edgespots for $125 or so. |

And if you find a spinner, you'll want to throw a hissy fit and make postings on every newsgroup and web forum about how the company is doomed to failure because they dared to deliver a spinner to you. Quote: |
