I will be in Vegas this weekend, I wanted to check out a store or two that sell chips and chip accessories. I am on a tight time schedule so ones close to the strip would be nice. I sure there are a few people here who would know of a good place to shop while taking a break from the tables.

Gamblers General Store is a pretty good place, all kinds of supplies, cards, chips...It's located between the strip and downtown.

Just a word of caution, the prices for chips in Vegas is probably going to be more that you would be paying from online sites and maybe even more than you would pay locally. Though the prices for the RT Plastics chips at Gamblers General Store would probably be the same as their web site. Shopping on the Strip per se is pretty much like boutique shopping; you're going to be paying top dollar for pretty much anything.

Chips (of various quality) are now available in Vegas in the following locations: all grocery stores, all casinos, all malls, all gas stations, all souvenir shops, and most adult strip clubs...

Also if your looking for nicer chips and plan on spending some decent cash, buying in Vegas you'll pay sales tax, buying online to another state avoids taxes. I almost picked up my chips from Apache when I was going to be there until he told me I'd get hit with extra cash for taxes, I let him ship them to my house instead. Shipping cost less than the taxes.
