Just found this forum today. Is EBay generally accepted as being the best place to sell chips? I have a set of Paulson Trademarks ($1-100, $5-625, $25-250, $100-25) that I will no longer be using as I have a pending move. It seems as though there are a lot of Paulson products on EBay, but not much activity as far as bidding. Is EBay the place to sell higher-end chips? Thanks in advance.
On eBay you could always list the item with a reserve.
With a reserve you can set a minimum price you're willing to let them go for, and if the bidding doesn't reach said minimum price, you have the option of not selling them.

True, but you have to pay the cost of the auction based on the reserve whether they sell or not.
Your best bet is on member-to-member here. I've sold something like 3000 chips so far without a single problem. No ebay fees and sometimes you can even get around Paypal fees. I haven't bothered putting anything up on ebay for awhile now. There's more demand in the community here and like another poster said, for the most part everyone here is most trustworthy.
Yeah, I'd say that any high-demand/high-end chips would fetch a higher price on Ebay, if that is of concern. For just about everything else, I'd certainly post it up in member to member first.
I have sold many things in the M2M section and I have only good things to say about the buyers of ct.net.
If you are new to ct.net, it would be good to provide your eBay user name with your listing. This will allow the members here to read your feedback and feel a little more comfortable about sending you money.
Offering payment by paypal is best way to protect both yourself and the buyer.
