| Chip Breakdown - Counts Hey... Longtime reader, but time to ask a question and start contributing. I saw a few other threads that were similar, but my scenario is a little different (with the numbers) so hopefully this is welcome.
After checking out lots of samples, I settled on the Paulson Pharaohs. I wasn't read back around the group buy, so obviously I'm paying a little more now, but I will pull the trigger here any day.
I'm a huge fan of nondenominational chips, so I'm going with the Paulson Pharaoh NCV chips. I love all the colors, and even though 7 denominations are crazy to me, I need at least a few of each. I generally play tourneys with the occasional cash game, and the denominations I assign (although the NCV chips give me freedom anyway) are $10, $25, $100, $250, $500, $1000, $2500 (although I rarely color up to the high ones).
I'm getting 1000 of the chips, and here's what I'm thinking of the breakdown for count on the 7 different NCR chips:
300, 300, 160, 100, 80, 40, 20
Any thoughts? One example is a 30 person tourney where I'd give out $1000 in chips... I'd have 300 of a low denomination to give each person 10 $10 chips, I could give everyone 10 $25 chips too (cause I have 300), and it gets easy from there, and I have enough to color up later too...
Just wondering if anyone does something similar to this, and how you'd break down 1000 NCV chips by color...
Thanks much,
