I have the ability to get a set of these for 199 shipped to my door and I am trying to figure out if it would be a good deal or not. I like having a decent collection and was wondering what you thought about this chip. Is it a plasticy cheap (11.5g dice style) chip, bud jones style, or more of a ceramic Chipco/NJ style?
Bottom line is that they are one of the best quality injection molded chips you can get. Basically RT Plastics. On par with Matsui, and in the range of Bud Jones.

Wonder what the story is on those chips. That casino is still in operation on the outskirts of Fresno, CA. I was there in August. Would the casino still cash those chips in? It wasn't those chips they were using when I was there.
One website said they were prototypes made for the casino that never ended up getting purchased/ordered/something. That doesn't really explain how they ended up being produced in such large quantities.
FYI - these things are for sale both through HPC for 300, ebay for 300 and I can get them for 200 shipped. However, I have seen them go for as low at 150 shipped on eBay, but that seller told me he couldn't let them go for that price any more (maybe he is just trying to milk me).

I really like the Table Mountain chips and am waiting for a delivery of a sample set from holdempokerchips.com that I just ordered 2 days ago. They're no longer listed on the website as being available in any form though and I notice that your link above is also broken now.
Wow - that is crazy, the link was working a couple hours ago. I wonder if someone purchased these after I put the post up... Do you think I get commission???
As I understand it, those chips were never put into circulation, if that is the case the casino would not have any obligation to honor them for redemption.
