Need a high res pic of this chip.......

the one I need is the purple $500. I am trying to get one of the chip clocks made from this site:

There was a post about these clocks a few days ago.

The guy at the clock place says he needs a super high res pic. I am not sure what that means in terms of resolution, but if anyone has anything, I would greatly appreciate it.

I cant help you on the pic question, love the look of the $100 & $500 chips though. A few of us on the HPT forum are trying to get this guy to make some Vinyard edition clocks for us. Looks like he does good work! Good luck with your project! M.I.D.

I can take the picture, and get you around 2900x2900 resolution (which should be plenty for that clock). The only problem is, I don't have one of those chips. If anybody can loan me a chip, I'll take some photos.

Thanks Cap'n. Now we just need someone to come forth with a chip! I would certainly pay whatever shipping and insurance would be involved with getting you the chip.

To MID and JLdecarlo, I agree with you on these chips. These are, I think, my favorite chips of all time. The $5's, $25's and $100's are pretty available one at a time on ebay for $5-$10/each, and the only set that I have seen was Dapper Dan's a while back.

Hopefully, we'll be able to come up with a chip to photograph.

One other idea I had...
Somebody who is good with Illustrator could turn that scan into a vector represenation, then scale it up and produce high-res artwork.
I don't know if that would be any good, or better than a good photograph, but it's an option that occurred to me.
