More NJ wonkyness

Ugh... got my last batch of comp chips from PSO, I'll have to buy two racks of black to finish out my 1k tournament set because of all the run-around I got about my different sized chips earlier (ended up selling them cheap). Guess what...

THE F****** GREENS ARE TOO F****** SMALL!

B*******. I only got 40 to finish my set so hopefully I'll be able to exchange them no problem. I'm willing to ship them back multiple times just on principle.... on the off chance it doesn't work, someone here will get 40 "old-thin" desert sands chips for like $1+shipping.

After I finish my DS tournament set and my beauties cash set I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM NJ.NET AGAIN. Over on 2+2 someone posted a quote from an email from NJ.net and they said "We will guarantee thickness of chips *if ordered at the same time*". That's such BS... if they want to go that route they should just claim "near casino quality" because I can't imagine any gaming establishment would accept the fact they will have varying thickness of chips on future orders. Hell, I should have just used the damn faux clay for my tournament set. Everyone here knows they handle and feel great and with a really stunning set of cash game chips (the beauties) it'd be alright that they are plain. Plus, I could have 10k of the damn things for the price of 1k the NJ chips.

that is all, end rant.

Re: More NJ wonkyness

That is bad, I feel that chips should be consistent. Should be different with different batches.

Man, NJ's have not turn out well for you.

Re: More NJ wonkyness

I recieved a small order of AM beauties (40) I made through holdem poker chips to add to the 200 I am buying off a member here...They were shipped very fast by holdem, but when I broke them out and inspected them and started stacking them etc., they were very wobbly on top of each other and looked ackward...slid around alot, and just wouldnt stack very well at all unless u only used like 5....This is just unacceptable to me and i wouldnt want to use these because of this ever...call me picky, or whatever, but I was just not happy about it, over 1/3 of them were spinners, and really my first experience recieving some considering I only have a set of all clay...I contacted Holdem and they are great about it and are going to let me exchange them....Not sure what I am going to do when the other 200 I bought arrive, but if they are anything like the other batch they are going on e-bay...I just can't deal with that....Making a really high and tight stack of chips is what its all about

Re: More NJ wonkyness

I'm not going to deal with Kim anymore, she blew me off completely after being rude.

Yeah, spinners suck. I will be sending any and all back that I recieve. My first run of beauties has zero to few (I haven't found any but haven't used them in play yet).

NJ makes a fine product when everything works right but the QC just isn't there. I urge anyone that has substandard product to simply return it until you are satisfied.... then make the determination of whether or not you'll shop there again.

Re: More NJ wonkyness

I was terribly unhappy with the bounty chip buy from NJ. And I have a set of skulls which are in perfect shape. But out of 10 Bounty chips I got 7 spinners. And a lot of other people got them to. I'd say about 50% of them were spinners but people didn't notice due to only getting 10 or 20. I was thinking about NJ for a future custom set, but not anymore.

Smoore, saw your post at PSO and the reply. What did NJ have to say?

so there's a few spinners

from working in the casino environment I really get the impression that the casino doesn't really give a rat's about spinners
- I don't really care either. I like messing around with the chips and the like, a spinner is just a novelty.

Of course, I don't mind blue chip chips either - it's personality

Re: More NJ wonkyness

Out of the 5 sets of samples of the beauties I got about 25% were spinners.I was not happy at all with them but that was not the only reason.
I think Chipco makes a much nicer product.
