Just got my latest shipment of Paulsons (I have to do this in stages) and found this one out-of-whack. Any of the Pharoahs this bad? I've now got about 450 and this is the only one that is over the edge. Many have some of the writing come close to the edge, but not like this.
It can happen if the inlay shifts during the molding process. Guess that one didn't get caught. You might want to check with the merchant to see if you can get it replaced.

Wow how unique you now have a value chip like no other, so keep it low toned otherwise everyone will want one lol ! really they are the exception not the rule, sort of like a miss striked coin that has added value if your in to that sort of thing! Collector wise that is! One man's flawed item is another man's treasure!
I have a couple of Red NCV Pharaoh's that look a lot like that, interesting that your red's and my red's have the same, although rare, tendency. I have 225 of the Red NCV Pharaoh's and only 2 are somewhat off center, one is as bad as yours.

i actually thought of this! However, I came to realize that the difference between a mis-striked coin is that I'm sure that the US Mint has a little higher standards for mistakes than the QC department at Paulson! ....although I COULD be wrong...
I had one bad Pharoah chip out of 500. It was a green $25 chip. Not worth the hassle of getting him replaced. Inlay was off on both sides at least as bad as the one shown. I kinda like following his wherabouts during the game.

This is very funny. Maybe I'll enjoy looking for that rogue fugitive chip...I may just try to get them to send me more of these! Do I smell a group buy of off-center Paulsons?
I have a couple casino Paulsons that have off-centered inlays about the same as your $5 chip. I probably wouldn't have noticed, but it's so rare that you see it.
I also have a Crystal Park Paulson chip that feels like plastic (really smooth and shiny) with the H&C indentations barely pressing into the chip, even though it appears to be an uncirulated chip. Occasional oddities, but very out of the ordinary.
