As you guys know I broke the bad news about the faux clays.
I found out when my local supplier told me.
He deals direct with 5star and I use him because I can get things cheaper than 5star.
We found out when he asked how long till the yellows came in and they said no more.

Anyway I found 600 yellows at LITTLEVEGAS.COM. and they told me they had just got them in last week.
So I say thats funny how did you do that when they are discontinued.
Well to make a long story short I asked them to find out from their other supplier if it was true before I bought 600 cause I rather buy 200 now and let those that need some here get the rest till they restock.

They promise to hold them and call me the next day.
Well 5 days later and numourus phone calls later they tell me they are discontinued and they would not be selling me any because they need them.

Bastards!!!!!!!

I was the one that let them know and spent money on 5 longdistance phone calls because they don't return them and don't have an 800 number and they tell me they aren't selling.

I finally shamed them into selling me 200 but am still pissed and recomend you don't use them.

Thanks for letting me rant and getting that off my chest.

Domestic LD is more often bulk package rates or included with cell phones, but there are people with straight rate and time charges for LD, because they did not want a package, and they're the ones that you'll most often see complaining about the cost of LD calls, and often inflate their actual charges for dramatic purposes. The whole thing started with 'local supplier' and then it became long distance calls. It didn't compute for me either.

And quite honestly I don't see anything wrong with a retail vendor wanting the keep specific colors to keep a set complete, if they know a specific color is no longer available. While I can see a retailer trying to accommodate a customer within reason, I don't think breaking up a set of chips or multiple sets to placate the needs of another customer who just wants a few of the chips is necessarily reasonable.

They weren't keeping them for sets they were keeping them because they rent chips.
Also then they never should have told me they would hold them for me or at least been kind enough to call me.
Either way you look at it it is poor customer service.

If you don't like their customer service, and you're going about bashing them and telling people not to patronize them, you shouldn't buy the yellow ones they're offering you either, otherwise you're just being a hypocrite. I'd suggest buying them from someone else even if you have to pay more for them and standing up for your convictions.

Somehow or another I kind of thought that might have been the case.

Sometimes people who aren't emotionally involved might view matters from a different perspective, sometimes with more minute and irrelevant details, and at other times (and hopefully more often) from a bigger picture point of view. In any case it's always good to have that resource available to you.

Not too good for their reputation. If they said they were going to hold them for you, they should have.
