European Poker Tour...

Does anyone happen to know what kind of cards they use on this tour. There is a pic of the card in the thread below. Someone said they are Waddington Ace. I would like to buy a couple packs if possible. Any idea where?

Re: European Poker Tour...

If you can't find what you're looking for, get the Gemaco Jumbo Index in bridge. It's very similar.

Re: European Poker Tour...

Fournier makes a card with jumbo index and yellow background (281. This doesn't seem to be a Fournier, though.

It isn't a Waddington either.

Copag makes a card that looks close to those ones.

Re: European Poker Tour...

As far as I know casinos only use paper cards though? In Europe a large majority, if not all, casinos were using Fournier cards until recently when the company was sold to or merged with USPCC. There are some unopened/sequrity sealed boxes of card decks from a European casino available here: http://chiptalk.net/forum/showthread.php?t=11641

I don't think those are mundi as the ace of spades looks a lot different:

Re: European Poker Tour...

Finally identified the manufacturer of these cards. On TV "CLUB ANGEL" was easy to read and it lead to the following conclusion:

They are Japanese, made by Angel Co. If you follow the link you will se the same ace design, but on a regular index card. I didn't find the actual model on the site though but I don't think there's any doubt that this is the right manufacturer.

Re: European Poker Tour...

the regular index card of angel its not very nice there is a big difference with
the jumbo index angel of the ept picture normaly i dont like very much regular
index i use only regular index only for omaha and seven card stud ,but for texas
always jumbo index here in europe the casinos use jumbo index normaly.
anybody plays with angel cards how are they, what casinos use them.
