Are all the old Paulson fantasy chips (JB/Le Cove/Fabulous Vega/Scandia, etc.) the same mold with just different edgespots and inlays? Are they all about the same quality or are there differences between them?

yes, all the chips that you mentioned are the same mold with different edge spots/inlays, although there is a version of the scandias with a mold of unknown origin. there are several other paulson fantasy chips that have shown up on this same alternate mold... they should all be about the same quality. some fantasy sets were also produced on the grand/giant inlay mold also... for some great pics of a large variety of fantasy/other sets, check out http://www.ccgtcc.com/fakes.html
