I was at breakfast with a friend three days ago, and we were talking philosophy. She said I wasn't a very materialistic person, so I took out five of my custom poker chips (Yes, I carry them with me always to show off to anyone I can - go to hell - I am allowed to for 24 months after purchase - it is the law) and pointed out that these were complete luxury items that I purchased.

SHE: Ah, but although you like them, they do not define you.
ME: Howso?
SHE: Let me put it this way - can you seperate your self from your chips?
ME: I have friends who do that for me, once a month. And I do not like it.

You are amoung friends. I bet we all carry chips with us. I also have a set in my trunck, just in case a game breaks out. Nothing like getting a game toghether in a hotel lobby.

I couldn't wait a month - my therapy is weekly.
