I think you're thinking of Artichoke's Poker Palace that opened in 1997 at the same location that Artichoke Joe's occupied. Artichoke Joe's in Carson City closed down in 1982.
The Artichoke's Poker Palace chips are not spotted in those denominations Quote: |

Just as much as it cost to produce a $1 Paulson spotted hot stamped chip. Wouldn't really know the exact price, however I paid 35¢ apiece for TH&C unspotted chips that were hot stamped in 1982, but that was also through a reseller. I'd guess that they were probably in the 20-25 penny range for that penny chip.  Quote: |
